Officially chartered on April 21, 2003, The Goshen Lions Club is an active participant in many different community efforts. Our key fundraiser is the annual golf outing, which generates funds used for scholarships and community projects, including Lions Park restoration, community dinners, specific holiday gifts, and of course, sight and hearing projects.

The original Goshen Lions Club founded in 1946 disbanded in 1997. In Aug 2001, led by President John Bassano, the current club began their meetings. They were officially chartered by the Middletown branch of the Lions on Charter Night on June 25, 2003, and have been going strong, with a healthy membership that has tripled in the past five years.
Our club has grown to nearly forty members since our Charter night. Our members come from a vast background, including sales, education, law enforcement, medicine, and construction. It is the combination and uniqueness of talents that allows our club to succeed and thrive in the spirit of lionism—namely, “We serve”. We hope that you enjoy our Web site and we heartily welcome you to learn more about whom we are and what we do and how you can get involved.
